Almost certainly the least enjoyable film I've watched in the last few years. It's the sort of deliberately weird twaddle that "arty" people" and critics pretend to really like, because they think it makes them seem enigmatic and cool. Apparently it was based on Greek mythology, but I think it reminds me more of a Danish parable. The Emperor's New Clothes. Like the child who shouts out that the Emperor is naked, I shall point out the obvious truth, that this film is tedious, pretentious, nonsensical crap. Avoid. Nicole Kidman is sexy. I wanted to like this move. really wanted to. interesting plot. could have been great. but the director seems to have demanded the most flat, affect-less, sterile, dead eyed, monotone, stilted line readings and performances he could conjure from his actors. given the material, such performances don't fit the movie. and to add to the dissonance the underlying soundtrack seems at times to randomly vomit up discordant noises which do not fit what is happening on screen. kind of a waste.

This is definitely the most successful movie promo he has given XDD love him. The acting was wooded throughout the entire film. and by all actors. This was a major distraction to me. That movie wad horrible no matter what themes you want to pull from the movie. I think it was poorly directed and lazily acted. Cant believe Nicole Kidman was in this movie. She must have gotten super paid. Martin is Erinyen (greek mythology. Conor McGregor looks different in this video. Acts like such a gentlemen💋. I know the guy has a checkered history, but he's charming as hell. Colin Farrell looks like a hot math teacher with the undercut and glasses.

The Lobster is a great movie. odd. but great. The movie had a great casts in it that's about it like his other movie, Lobster great casts and that's it 😱😱. Colin has a Claddagh ring on his pinky and the heart is pointed inwards. who's the chick. Much hotter. The only imprint I got from watching this movie was Colin's strained and robotic delivery of his dialogue. Strange to say the least unless he was directed that way possibly in which case, it is still strange.

We saw this at Cannes. It was weird and confusing af. I feel like im missing something. Like a hidden meaning. Or maybe people in the film industry are just so pretentious that they like something eccentric for the sake of looking sophisticated. Hmm so the society is forgiving doctor as he committed murder but blame the boy... I think either both are wrong or both are right. This looks so bad.

I miss Colin, I hope he does more movies. Freakishly good film. Really disturbing but fascinating film... In the beginning of this episode the old Korean guy from the Korean spa remote was in a comedy bit as Prince's son sitting among the audience where he was hilariously horrible. He just refuses to go away, eh. I didnt get the connection to God, I felt that Martin was a manifestation of Steven's guilty conscience: his inner demons materialised in Martin. It was a weird movie, but it definitely kept my mind turning and twisting throughout👍. Just saw these 2 in Beguiled.
